YouTube Channel ID Finder

Extract the Channel ID from any YouTube URL, @handle, or channel name. Useful for the YouTube Data API, analytics tools, and embeds.

What is a YouTube Channel ID?

A YouTube Channel ID is a unique identifier assigned to every YouTube channel. It always starts with UC and is 24 characters long (e.g. UCX6OQ3DkcsbYNE6H8uQQuVA).

Channel IDs are different from @handles (e.g. @MrBeast) and custom URLs. The ID stays the same even if a creator changes their name or handle.

Common YouTube URL Formats

  • youtube.com/@handle — New @handle URL
  • youtube.com/channel/UC... — Direct channel ID URL
  • youtube.com/c/CustomName — Legacy custom URL
  • youtube.com/user/Username — Legacy username URL

💡 Tip: Find Channel ID Manually

Go to any YouTube channel page → right-click → View Page Source → search for "channelId" to find the UC... ID.
